An extra hand
Great addition to your tool arsenal if you install cabinets. Works great and saves time. Efficiency is the name of the game. Great quality too.

compact and well engineered
Unlike much of the Chinese knockoffs that LOOK like they might work, this thing actually DOES work. It strikes me as a product that's engineered exactly right: not too heavy & not too light, not too big & not too small, not too overbuilt & not too flimsy. Although it's more expensive than the versions that LOOK like they might work, this one does work. If you are a diminutive female or kid, you'll have trouble lifting the max load with this thing. There aren't many people that have sufficient hand strength to overload this device. This amounts to built-in overload protection. The method of controlling descent is also cleverly done.

Viking Arm
This is the most expensive of this type of small jack. But is well made and extra sturdy. The most important feature is the ability to slowly let lifted items back down. The cheaper version that I bought lacks this very important feature. I use it lift 100 lb audio speakers to adjust feet and also to lift large tube amplifiers when repositioning or leveling. Also used to level feet on a large refrigerator/freezer.

Love this product
The Viking Arm lives up to expectations. I used it to lift my heavy shed door to replace hinges. It saved me from a much more complicated fix.

Works as advertised...
and makes some otherwise difficult tasks much easier. Based on the quality and utility of the first one I had purchased: I bought a second one to use simultaneously opening up more utility.
