Pocket hole jig given as Christmas gift. It is what was asked for due to product quality. He was very happy to receive it.
Better feeling than Kreg
The jig is very solid. I love that it’s made of metal. Im probably going to mount it onto a larger base so it will stand up better when I have a hose on it. My only 2 gripes about it are: 1. the holes it makes could have a finer cut but that may be bc the bit is dull out of the box. 2. The depth setter is not attached to the jig and Im afraid of losing it. Ive used it for a lot of joints in my workbench and it worked great. The dust collection is really good. My hose doesnt fit well, but the spot the attachment is at is perfect and picks up, i would say, 95% or more of the shavings/dust.
The ease of using it, first time using a pocket jig.
I used this to build some frames for a dog kennel. It worked very well and the instructions were easy to comprehend. It's made of aluminum and a few plastic parts and worked flawlessly.
Bought to build frameless cabinets. So far seems to be accurate and beefy. I wanted Kreg but just can’t justify paying that much for plastic!
